Bethel Sept rifle hunt
« on: August 01, 2018, 07:31:26 PM »
Drew the Bethel Sept quality rifle hunt this year. Been over scouting as much as possible but the weather has been super hot. Seeing sign but not the elk anyone have any tips for that unit?

September is pretty dry up there. Look high and around water holes. I'll be up scouting here soon. If I see anything tag worthy I'll let you know

:yeah:

I'm stupid short on time this year -- I have yet to do any hunting and intended to pick my cams up weeks ago but haven't been able to.  That said, if I see anything, I'll pm you.

You should have no trouble finding a legal bull.  Lots of elk and not a lot of water is a nice combo for the lucky tag-holder :).  If you want help finding a trophy bull, you'll have to ask someone more knowledgeable than me  :chuckle:

Its a fun hunt. I killed a bull with the archery permit last year.
