No good. Sorry your stuff was taken. O/T... If you find the thieves, send them to Moses Lake. Lots of tents in the city parks. ML is filling up with urban campers. Lots of tent stealing opportunities.

No kidding! It’s only going to get worse when the city builds them a homeless shelter

That doesn't work, considering that it's likely that he'll find his tent in that exact location in ML, or one like it.

This year I am going to set up several cameras guarding my tent. Last year someone stole my tent while I was scouting.
They will be positioned to read license plate numbers and of course anyone that comes into camp uninvited.
The tent that was stolen was new and expensive.
I read that as he was using his tent on a scouting trip, nothing about saving a spot for hunting season.  :twocents:

So they tossed your sleep system and rest of your gear outside? Or was the tent empty?

No, the gear was still in the truck. They also took my ladder, which was some distance from the tent.
And the tent was setup on a dead end road about 100ft back.
They must have scoured the area.

I set up the tent because I don't like to do it in the dark.
