WTB generic red dot scope base

I'm looking for a generic mini red dot scope base that fits into a rear sight dovetail. Everything I've found is for a specific Red Dote scope and most have been high-end. I want to try one on a Rugar P95 to see if I like the setup, I don't want to dump $50 for a base and have to add a $400 scope on a $250 gun.
