I have never hunted the late season but from what I hear it depends a great deal on what happens with the snow. If the snow is deep; hunt the snowline: walk 50 yds, glass, repeat until you see bodies; check wind and animal movement direction. If they are bedded, work a line cross wind, up elevation if possible and stay off the horizon and constantly check wind and adjust. If moving, move to intercept and stay upwind. Glass south facing slopes. Don't assume the animals won't be in the snow, they may be; maybe not. Go high, go low.....Lots of possibilities, weather will dictate. Wish I knew for sure, if you get some good advice other than 'get out there and burn some boot leather...." or 'find a dark hole.....' let me know!!
