Anyone hunt deer out towards Bickelton last year...and how did you do?

have a buddy whos wife grew up there and they have hunted it for years and years, his father in law still lives there and watches deer all the time.  he said the hunting has gone down hill, and it has turned into a huntin club area. big money buying up leases and locking up the property. unfortunate for the good ole 40 hr week person.

Bickelton was my main deer area for many years, but the hairloss and the cougar population explosion really put the hurt on them.Public land is in short supply and now that the Simcoe unit is a draw in 382 even less land to hunt.Too bad loved that area.

Outdoor addict... what’s your buddy’s father in laws last name? I know a few people up there and are you talking about the 6 prong hunt club?
