Checked our cameras today...
« on: August 18, 2019, 06:21:50 PM »
My hunting partner and I checked our cams today and deployed a couple new ones. Saw a cougar on two of our cams which are very close to each other (~500yds). What does this mean for our hunting season? Is this cat going to chase our elk away or do they not freak out too much by having a cat in the area?

Dont sweat it, just have a cougar tag.  Anywhere you find elk, there will be cougar.

We definitely have cougar tags, and bear tags. Just haven't seen this cat before and don't want it to ruin our chances in the area we plan to be in.
