A lot of the discussions regarding BHA was their push to close roads by classifying more wilderness. Thought those in that camp would be interested to hear of this event. Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is partnered with the Okanogan Open Roads Coalition to protect that access. Short notice but this is happening tomorrow in Twisp.

Good stuff Jackelope.

Do you have a link that shows all of the partner groups?

Perhaps I could get HHC, WWC and SCI's chapters to sign on as partner orgs, and the tens of thousands of people they collectively represent in this state.  Access is a near and dear issue for everyone.

I've been very critical of BHA as a .org...  but I applaud this move

I'm all for keeping roads open and having access to public land

I don't.
@WAcoyotehunter  would be a better source of info on that one.

Interesting. Maybe I'll stop in on the way up tomorrow.

I don't have anything off the top of my head.  Check out their FB page or website for more info.  The chapter has been involved for a few years with the open roads coalition but I don't know what other groups are on board.

Those roads being locked up are a big deal in that area
