Ruffus Woods?

Has anyone fished the south end of Ruffus Woods lately?

Hey Ridinshotgun,
Just so you know, Rufus Woods runs more in an East West direction. The South end would actually be the south bank.
Which area of the river are you asking about?
I fish Rufus Woods quite regularly. I was on the water last Tuesday the 17th & Thursday the 19th with my fishin buddy (Daughter) she brought a 12.9 pounder to the net on my new and improved trout pellet fly.

It sounds like you had a great trip. We are going to fish Bridgeport area.
Thanks for the report.

Now that the coyote hunting is over I'm going to head up there tomorrow to try for some triploids fishing from shore just cause I'm too lazy to get the boat ready. Heard they have been doing pretty good. With any luck I'll be smoking some fish Saturday. Also heard the walleye are starting to bite good.

We went out last weekend. Launched above Chief Joe. Caught 4 walleye's in the morning then limited on triploids. Fishing should only get better as the water warms up!
