Curt trutrack antisway hitch ??
« on: October 31, 2019, 03:02:34 PM »
So I picked up a toyhauler last weekend, a 2004 desert fox 28-ks. My 10k rated fastway hitch isnt going to up to the task of hauling this trailer fully loaded.
Thinking of replacing it with a curt trutrack that's rated up to 15k #.
Specs on the trailer, 8k empty, 1300# tongue weight empty (probably higher then that though), gwr of 13,500#.

Anyone have any experience with the trutrack? It's very simmiliar to the equalizer 4 pt, but with a couple either more modern, or possibly gimmicky features. It fits my budget, and curt equipment never let me down yet, that's why I'm considering it over the much more expensive and lighter rated 14k equilizer.
