Don’t get one !  You will see all kinds of pits, scratches, carbon that will make you want to replace an otherwise fine barrel .   :chuckle:

Looks like a great unit for the price, the only issue I have is it is not compatible with iPhone or iPad.  It would be a pain to use my PC, anybody used it on a chrome book?

I got one of these for Christmas this past year. It's definitely worth it.

Funny story, yesterday my daughter was complaining of having a bug in her ear. She felt like something was crawling around so I look in there with a flashlight and could not see anything. Then I thought, hey I got a borescope. So I used the borescope and was able to take photos of her inner ear canal. No bugs LOL!

Multi use tool.  :chuckle:

I have only used an otoscope a few times, but are those pustules on there?  I always remembered a fairly smooth look.

I know it's not gun related but here's a photo of the inner ear. Taken with the borescope.

I’m using mine with my laptop.  Works great for me.  Probably a pain with a desktop

I figure if it shoots it’s still good.   One thing I was happy to see was how uniformed my hand teamed chambers were at the lands compared to the gun smith done chambers.  The 338 lapua barrel looked pretty crooked at the throaty where the rifling starts.  My 338/375 and 37XC are all nice and even.  Funny thing is they all shoot great

I know there is an adapter that works with iPhone ? but needed another so got the $75 wireless one - it rocks.  Just a small rechargeable battery with the camera probe coming out of it.  Pics show up on your phone.  Sweet.  Worked great for breaking in barrel - peaked at the throat between shots and brushed out the copper when needed.
