Sabotloader what front sight do you recommend with this setup ? If got a disc extreme
On my cva I e got the Lee shaver hooded front sight setup and like the front hood style

I use this setup on my Knights...

I do change the red fiber optic to a green one for better contrast on the target

Front Ramp
962-020-097WB
Streamlined Ramp 3/16"  1.625 Hole Spacing Screw-on
Mfr Part: 1690

Williams front fire Sight
962-564-350WB
Red Fire Sight fits .343N
Mfr Part: 56434

Fire sight Hood
962-000-016WB
Fire Sight Hood
Mfr Part: 70031

If you got one coming for your DISC you may have to make a small modification to the elevation bar so the bolt does hit the sight.

Also what size fiber optic replacement do you buy? I see .04 and .06

Thank you for posting this. I would like to try to figure this out for next year.

Are the target knobs less appealing for hunting because of aesthetics or do they functionally tend to get bumped or hung up on stuff more?

Next year we might have to change it all again if they let us use 1X scopes.

My big upgrade this last year was to tweak a contact lens strength in my shooting eye so that I wasn’t fiddling with reading glasses. I didn’t know that a 1x scope was up for discussion.

WDFW sent out email forms to fill out.  There were a lot of topics.  One was possibly changing the law to include scopes on muzzleloaders.  One topic covered 1X and another one covered the use of variable scopes.  Another topic was allowing the use of dogs to recover wounded game.
