If my wife says "Let's buy a gun" I don't ask questions...I buy it  :chuckle:

Happy wife, happy life. Good luck.

Have her shoot it first if you can. Almost guaranteed she’ll change her mind. It’s good that she wants a gun, and if she’s anything like my wife, she’ll prefer the feel of a revolver over a semiauto, but that isn’t the revolver to get. It’d be pretty punishing for her to shoot, and if shooting it isn’t fun, she won’t do it.

I bought a short barrel Judge for a snake gun.    Almost worthless, can't hit anything more than 5 feet away.

Bought another Judge with a long bagel,  it's pretty fun to shoot.    Even managed to hit a few clay pigeons with it.

If your wife says buy a gun, buy it!  Even if it's a left hand Tikka.

Pretty sure that's in the Man Code.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I gave it some time to see if she was really interested. She forgot about it so I let it pass.
She still wants a handgun just not that one anymore.

Eh... to me it's like one of those novelty guns like the FN PS90 or a little Derringer. Cool to have, sure. But I'd rather grab something else for true functionality.
