first bow storage

can i store my bow leaning in the corner of my safe?or do i need to hang it?I dont know if setting it on the cam will do any damage This is probably a stupid question but this is my first bow.Any info would be great

You need to loosen the screw on your limbs where they meet the riser, write down how many turns you did on both screws and make sure to keep your string waxed. I would tkae the slip of paper and keep it near the bow.

You should be fine to store it as is... no need to back off your poundage with storing.

I've never backed off my limbs when storing my bow.  But then again I don't go that long without shooting my bow too.
