That looks like a really nice WA State bear, I'd guess 185 to 205.  He'd be heavier this fall.  It's hard without something of known size to reference him or if we could see a front shot of his head.  He's a real nice bear though.

P.S.  That is a real cool trick too, taking his photo in the future like that, wish my cameras would take them 2 days before they show up, it would make setting up my treestand easier.  :):)

I cant put a weight to him but I can see that his ears are coming off the side of his head and I would guess he is fairly mature.  I would almost bet he is not small :twocents:

I would shoot him. I agree that he does not appear to be juvenile based upon the ears.

yeah his ears are out to the side, and that last shot shows he's got a pretty good crease running down the center of his forehead, he's a mature bear.

He is gonna be a lot heavier looking in the fall.  He looks pretty big already.  Bear are one of those animals I am horrible at judging.

I agree with timberstalker judging by how far apart the ears are that is a dandy bear. Go shoot that one and then post the size so we will know if we are judging correctly.

Somewhere between 200 and 225. He is a solid bear and should gain a little over the summer. Shoot him first chance you get.

I'd say he weighs somewhere between 220 to 240, definitley a mature bear, he'll be a real good bear this fall.  I'd shoot him in a second.

Hope you've got a bear can over that camera...you'd hate to find your SD card in a pile of bear crap.

Great pics...
