Goose praire rifle bull tag

My dad drew that tag and is really excited to try and get it filled.  He has some knowledge of the area, but I've never hunted it myself and want to do everything I can to help him out.  He's pretty spry for being 83, but at the same time don't want to run him into the ground, so looking for any information.
