Butchering/Taxidermy in King/Snohomish Counties
« on: July 25, 2022, 08:57:01 AM »
Howdy Everyone,

Like most, I am looking forward to the bear opener. I have been in the woods nearly every weekend trying to get eyes on bears (with some success). If I am lucky enough to get one, I was curious to see people's preferred butcher in the area. I would prefer to stay in King and Snohomish counties if possible.

I am also looking to get a bear rug done if I get a brute. Any recommendations?

Happy Hunting

I take mine to Wildlife Obsessions in Duvall. Real nice guy does good work. Might be a bit of a drive if you're further up north

For butchering --- TNT Custom Wild Game, on Camano Island

For taxidermy ---- Moro Taxidermy, in Lake Stevens

Not sure TNT does bear, but you can call them and ask.  (360) 387-2683

I've heard TNT mentioned a few times. I'll give them a ring, thanks!

I had trouble finding anyone who would take my spring bear for rugging last year.  Probably called 3-4 different taxidermists in the area before one referred me to Wildlife Obsessions in Duvall.  I found them to be professional, fairly priced and have good turnaround (about 13/14 months).
