youth hunt gmu 382

my son drew the youth anterless in 382. wasn't our first choice but he got it anyways. I had a place lined up with a friend's property but now he will be out of town and we won't be able to hunt it. I dont know the area and only put it as an option because of our friends place.
does anyone have any suggestions?  I know there are a lot of deer down there but it's mostly private. any help is appreciated
