Mountain View Archery Hunt
« on: June 14, 2009, 09:17:02 PM »
I was lucky enough this year and drew the Mountain View archery elk tag. I normally dont ask for help but to be honest going to the east side of the montains is all new to me. I have heard that it is steep and rugged.  So any advice, comments would be thankful. Thank you and good hunting to all this year.

You should do lots of hiking during the summer to get into shape for the rugged terrain. Drink more water, less beer, and eat healthier. :chuckle:

Manache canyon. It's steep and deep. Don't shoot and elk down there unless you have horses lined up or 6 stupid friends to help you out. If you aren't in sheep shape right now it's probably too late. :chuckle:
