Good to see you got it figured out.

I was having trouble with my Yamaha T9.9 dying at idle while out steelhead fishing the other day. Planned on pulling the carb off and giving it a good cleaning. Thought I would check into a new carb just in case. Yamaha carb was $450. Saw great reviews for a $60 carb off Amazon that I could have the next day and thought, why not try it. Put it on and went fishing and worked awesome. Still planning on working over my old carb though!

I definitely thought there would be some more tinkering after installing the new carb, but it fired right up.
