I thought this policy would be helpful for all you last minute guys. Lot's of new rules out on base with this policy. Read carefully.

That makes it tougher for sure. If you're 16th in line you're SOL. Even if you aren't you have about six hours to drive to an area, find an animal and harvest it. If it's an elk you only have a few more hours to get you and the animal off which could be difficult.

No evening hunt, because you have to be off base by 1630.
You can only have one (1) helper.
They might as well just kept it closed.
The general hunt individuals should be last in line, and the permit tagholders should have first shot at the 15 slots.
