I htought you were allowed to dispatch your own animals.  I thought it just had to be done in a responible manner, i.e. one shot to the head and such.
Of all the branches of men in the forces there is none which shows more devotion and faces grimmer perils than the submariners."

Some people have no clue! This isn't a dog story, but a couple of summers ago my family and I went up to the "Hole In The Wall" at Cape Alava near Forks for a day at the beach. My kids were having a blast looking at all of the sea creatures and hermit crabs etc., when this whack-job lady comes up to my then six-year old boy and scolds him for picking up a starfish. She says, "How would you like it if someone picked you up and ripped you out of your home?!!?" Before I even had the chance to set her straight, my boy spoke the wisdom that only a six year old can, "Well, why would I care... I'm not a starfish!" (Then I jumped in and finished her off)   :chuckle:  (PS... Not trying to jack the thread.)
Good job responsibly crate training your dog.

not a thread jack at all I like the story!

I was at the beach and going back to my truck but was having to wait for a woman putting her kids in her van ( not a big deal at all I have kids so it does not bother me to wait on such things) but I noticed she had a lit cigarett in her mouth as shes having her kids sit down on the sill of the van door while she wipes the sand off the kids feet so I tell her that it is really bad to smoke in front of her kids she turns to me and just gives me a rude look so then I tell her not to get mad at me cause if anything she should be mad at herself for giving her kids cancer. sometimes I should prob keep my mouth shut but im just not that kind of person  :chuckle:

I would have turned the tables on her and accused he of stealing the dog as others have mentioned.

Either that or slapped the biotch into next week  :chuckle:

i had some dumb ass lady try to give me some similar $#!T, we stopped at walley world as our last stop on the way out to our property during deer season, I had my beagle plus my parents 3 beagles and there lab and was letting them all out of the crates to piss while pops was running in for supplies. we had them in 2 crates the 3 younger beagles in one thats like rottie sized crate and lab and momma beagle in another also large crate. luckily i wasn't at work so i told her where she could stick her oppinion then moved some stuff outa the way so she could see the rifle cases in back of the truck.... she drove off
A wise man once said "Can you hear that? Just listen to the quiet."
