Lake Washington/Seattle Area
« on: July 26, 2009, 01:49:05 PM »
I was wondering if anyione had any advice on some places to look for bass, trout or perch on Lake Washington or maybe Green Lake? My daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor last month and we have been staying in Seattle while she is getting treatment. I have been looking for things to do on ours days off and was thinking that if she was feeling well enough, we might be able to try some fishing somewhere close to where we are staying. We are staying near the University of Washington and Children's Hospital and I wouldn't even know where to start looking.  Any ideas or general information would be a big help. We would be fishing from the beach most likely. Thanks.

there is a public beach on the Kirkland side of the lake, i can not remember exactly where, but i remember it looking like a bass haven when i was a little kid and lived in Kirkland. if i remember right there was a woodin bored walk that went through it, maybe some of the others guy that currently live there would know what i am talking about....?  :dunno:

I grew up in Seattle, we always went to Seward park to fish off of the shore down by the fish hatchery. I have not been there in many years I think they have built a fishing pier down at the park.
