Crab Catch Record Cards
« on: September 16, 2009, 03:05:20 PM »

Heads up,

Wouldn't want to pay the extra $10 on next years fishing license.

WDFW WILDLIFE PROGRAM
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife
600 Capitol Way North, Olympia, WA 98501-1091

Deadline for Puget Sound Dungeness crab report Sept. 21

Please remember that Sept. 21 is the deadline for returning your summer Puget Sound Dungeness crab report to WDFW. All sport crabbers who have a crab endorsement and received a catch record card are required to make a report even if they did not go crabbing or catch any crab. If you don’t file your catch report you’ll be fined $10 when you apply for a 2010 fishing license.

Completed cards can be mailed in or recorded online. Details are available at https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/wdfw/puget_sound_crab_catch.html .

If you file your catch report by the deadline, you will be entered in a drawing for one of 10 free 2010 combination fishing licenses, which allows the holder to fish for a variety of freshwater and saltwater species.

When the tribes have an accurate reporting system in place I will turn in my catch record.  Untill then I have no problem paying the extra $10
