Spent all day scouting on the ytc. Saw exactly the same number of sage grouse as deer... 3. 2 does and one small buck. Im definatly going back numerous times before the season but I scouted some really awesome country with no luck. We spent all our time in the sdz and ta6. If theres anyone who was archery hunting or is elk hunting who has seen some nice bucks I would really appriciate any help. I was planning on being pretty selective (24" or somewhere abouts) but after today my faith is waining.... I 've killed some nice bucks and can always find deer but today.... not so much
