All i can here are geese in my ears... at work, in the truck, on the crapper. Maybe if i kill enough it will stop! lol

ehh they might have been greaters, they were twelve pounds, heard of giant canadians getting to be 20+

ehh they might have been greaters, they were twelve pounds, heard of giant canadians getting to be 20+
they were greaters. ive been on a guided goose hunt twice and limited or came close with greaters both times and they have all been it the 10 to 14 pound range

they are definately greaters at that size. over in Eastern Washington thats how big the ones we get are and they are greaters. or Great Basin whatever you wanna call em. BIG birds though! lots of fun!!!

this is true. Look up snow goose hunting in Mound City missouri on youtube. I did this last year. 1.8 million snows were there at the time I was there. I want to go back.  :drool:

its wild!! Mound City isn't exactly a Las Vegas to visit.... (haha) but we dropped in for 5 days. 1 day arrive in Omaha and drive to MO, 3 days of hunting, and last day drive back to Omaha for flight home.

I think I figured if 2-5 guys go, you can do the whole trip, including 3 days of guided goose hunting, hotel, rental car, airplaine, food, for $1,000-1200each.

I know it's a really good price, but its still a matter of spending  money. guides are like $135/day + tip and the flight right now is $250, already up $60 per person since I checked last month... doh.
