Sorry to hear the bad news!!!! This is common news anymore. I bet at least 1x per week we read that someone has had a camera stolen.
If you look around the classifieds someone had some nice home made security boxes for sale. Might be a good investment.
I have 5 cams that I try and keep running and really need to get some boxes on them. 
I'm playing with fire I know it.
