Moultrie D-40 Multi-Shots
« on: November 23, 2009, 10:30:54 AM »
I set the cam that has been getting a lot of action with the 2-shot this last week and did not get a single set of pictures except for me walking into check it out.

Does the multi-shot  (2 or 3 shot) work during the night? Anyone have experience using the multi-shot feature?

I don't think the deer are moving much. I went and checked my cam yesterday and no pics. Last weekend I had about 20.

I agree, the wind we had this week really got them bedded. Hopefully they are ready to move coming this Friday.  :hunter:

I set mine out to soak for 3 weeks pre-season. It was set for 3 shot bursts. Works both day and night. As the batteries got weaker the flash is not as intense by the third shot but still took some good pictures. Still had 10% battery life after 3 weeks.

I have 4 of them, they work great day or night and they are all on 3 shot bursts.  :dunno: I have had a couple in the past that I had to take back because they wouldn't work right though!!  :bash:
