I'm thinking about putting A Timney trigger in my old Ruger.  What do you guys think?  Do you guys that have them like them? If not what triggers do you recomend?  Are they easy to install?  Any info would much appreciated.  Thanks

Rifle Basix is good stuff too.

Is there a particular reason you want to change the trigger?  I have the same setup as you and do see room for improvement but what is the reasons?  Do you want a lighter pull?  Shorter range of motion?  Just curiouse

I want a lighter pull.  I shot this gun for years.  Its the first rifle I've ever owned and in the last three years or so I started buying other rifles, all with lighter trigger pulls.  Now when I shot this one the pull feels so heavy to me that it is effecting my accuracy.  I never paid any attention to trigger pull until I shot a rifle with a much lighter pull.

Did a Timney on a ruger M77 MKII.  Well worth the money.   :twocents:

Yep Killbilly put a rifle basix trigger in my ruger and it is wonderful......makes shooting so much more enjoyable with a nice trigger.
