Elk area 6064 of GMU 638
« on: December 10, 2009, 09:12:49 AM »
Has anyone got some intel they might share.  I'm getting desperate if that isnt obvious, and the freezer is running low.  I had a road hunter blow my only opportunity at an elk with my bow last week in the Winston.  Thinking about giving 6064 a shot.

Thanks

I couldn't tell you anything about 6064, but it's quite a drive up there to hunt such a small area.  I'm not farmiliar with the area at all, but I think that often times those elk areas are private lands with problem elk.

I'd say just keep hammering the Winston.  It's hard to go there and not get on elk, eventually you'll be given another chance.
