Some would say who in the hell would buy a pair of Binos for $2000 when you can get a set for $40.

I looked at them and am unsure exactly what the hell Ostrich hide would do to improve the boots, other than maybe make you stand out as a tree hugging yuppie when you walk down the streets of Aspen, or Seattle.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Pretty much this, same reason someone would buy a escalade who lived in Seattle.  Status baby, see me I have more money than common sense.  "What this thing has 4 wheel drive?  How do I use that?" "Oh I may want to drive over to see the wolves in my escalade yea thats it!"

ya most likely lots of shipping and tariff costs added to that product. I have a hard time paying 425 for work boots I dont think I could pay a grand for something like that. But mostly because you can buy a great product in schnee's or whites pac boots and they are American leather put together buy American labor.

morons, buy hand crafted boots from a local boot maker and spend 1/2 the money and keep a local business open.
