2007 WAFNAWS raffle winner results.
« on: January 08, 2008, 10:53:12 AM »
I suppose I could PM ramslam, but thought maybe others on here would want to know what happened with the 2007 raffle tag winner, I think his name was Bill Shields.  Did he get one, where, etc?

I know alot of the raffle tag winners be it Deer, Elk, Sheep, Etc don't want there success to become public knowledge. The have their reasons I am sure whatever they may be.

It seems most past winners are posted on the WAFNAWS website from what I remember...  It's good advertising for WAFNAWS and the raffle I would imagine...  That reminds me, I still need to become a member of WAFNAWS at some point.

I haven't heard anything of the other raffle tag holders. i've seen one ram that came off of clemans mt, but thats it. he was not the raffle tag holder.

Even though our website is not fully functioning, there is a link to a membership word.doc at the top of the home page at   www.wafnaws.com

Or, there is all the info needed to attend this year's annual banquet/fundraiser (which would also be a good time to joing wafnaws) at  http://www.working4wildlife.com/Main.html
"A greater appreciation for the outdoors and the hunting experience."

I would imagine if it was a big 190+ ram we would have heard...?  I applied for the raffle this year.  In fact, I calculated my odds based on how many tickets were sold and my odds were better than drawing a WA bighorn tag...  So sad.

You can see a picture of Bill Shield's raffle ram by down loading the 2008 raffle flyer at www.wafnaws.com.

Look for more pics and a story in the summer WAFNAWS newsletter.

Very nice ram, just what I wanted to see.  Is there any details about the hunt that can be released?
