My RCBS kit!! :)
« on: December 19, 2009, 11:11:59 PM »
Just got the RCBS Master reloading kit from Cabelas. I might need a diaper 'cause I'm so exited that i think I'm going to pee myself. It has everything a guy could want. Well, almost! I already have shell holders, micrometer, powder, bullets, ext. I'm jazzed and can't wait to make some new loads. :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Who has it and what do you think?

its what i got to start reloading and i think it may be the best starter kit for reloading there is. its good to go with the single stage re loader to learn the fundamentals. have fun its addictive my reloading bench grew to a little over 12 feet and three or for upper kitchen cabnits installed over the top. it takes over fast

two things about your bench.

1. it can never be to big
2. it can never be to sturdy

go for broke on the bench its worthit, i guarantee your going to add to your setup so give yourself some room  :twocents:

Thanks for the advice littlebuf. I plan on making it about 8 feet long. It will double as my wife's scrapbooking table when I'm not reloading.

That's a good one to use on the wife, scrapbooking table.  That should work untill you have your third press set up because your tired of changing dies all the time.  Then you need room for a scale and a couple of powder measures at each press.

Have fun.

Great kit to start with!! Same one I started with. To me reloading is my time to unwind if I'm all stressed out. It is very relaxing. You will enjoy it. Like the others have said. Make your bench sturdy and make sure you have room to expand it as you get more into reloading. Enjoy.

Not sure what I did to deserve it but I guess I was a good boy this year. My kit, which was not to arrive until the 30th, was on my porch when I got home last night. I placed the box under the tree. I can't wait to get home and open it.

It should contain this

Yeah i went all out. After talking with some friends and using my father-in-law's set up for the last year I decided that i was going to get all this stuff someday anyway. Why not save the money, use his setup, and when i could afford it buy the grand daddy supper kit. Well it's been a long wait but i finally got it. I can't wait to start using it. All i need now is time!

I have all the same but the powder trickler and scale. I think I payed quite a bit more by buying the items separately.

Yeah it was much cheaper to buy it as a kit.
