hey my name is jonathan and im new to the forums and i wanted to know where i can hunt with my 10/22? im 14 and live in auburn. i would also like to know what i can hunt? thanks anything helps!

areas up by auburn,i dont know. grouse, rabbits ,coyotes,bobcats. theres probably more but i forget,goodluck

Unfortunately there is no where around Auburn that you can hunt these days. It's all a no shoot area except for one area around Smith Dairy Farm and that is leased by a friend of mine for duck hunting only. I'm pretty certain you will have to go south towards Lacey or Yelm area and it's not likely you will find anything out there either. Sucks for a young man wanting to hunt no doubt. You are not old enough to hunt on Fort Lewis training base, I'm certain you need to be 18 or older for that.

I'm betting you can find some farms up in the Buckley and Enumclaw areas that you can hunt on.  There's got to be some national forest or timberlands in those areas too  - maybe out past Black Diamond too. Check some Satelite pics and some maps and knock on some farmers doors.  You'll find some area.
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

Shooting squirrels in the moutains is always kind of fun.  Ground squirrels too.
