With the snow we just got here in the Spokane area, just wondering who is going to get out and call some dogs. I'm going to try and head out tomorrow.

With a 4-day weekend, I'm probably going to get out for one of the days. Maybe on the 1st... while everyone is recovering from their hangovers.

I seen two and missed one on the run. Both times the coyotes were spooked from gunshots by my partners who were spread apart. Between all of us we saw 6 coyotes for the day. 1 went down but my freind didn't get any pics and he left it.

Went out yesterday. Saw one while driving but none while calling. Did hear some turkeys out at Fishtrap. That was first.

Just got back. Plenty of fresh coyote tracks (also found what look like bobcat) in the crunchy snow. Other than some magpies, crows and a curious Bald Eagle, nothing else responded to my calling and decoy. Tried out some new calls that I got from bearmanric... great sound and plenty loud enough. Great calls at a great price.
Found a great area to field-hunt geese... tons of them flying overhead... a lot were in easy shotgun range. Also saw a few deer.
I'll try again after my FoxPro Spitfire arrives.
