PHOTO OF THE YEAR 2009
« on: January 07, 2010, 09:14:25 AM »
Its that time of year.  You choose who gets photo of the year.  Not sure if we have any prizes, other than the honor of winning the contest.  If some come forward, we'll post them, but for now here is the link, and we'll try to get Decembers added, but for now view it in the December photo of the month.

Lets get some votes guys.  There are 4,000 plus members, at least half of them are active and I am sure a few of those like the pictures people post.  This is a great way toThank them.  Give your favorite a vote.

tough decisions...

Would it be possible on the poll to have the name of the photo be a link for the photo? Just a thought. It's make it real easy that way to just look at them as you go down the list.

if I say No, I save alot of hassle and work.  If I say Yes, I can spend an hour of my life uploading pics and tracking down links for them. LOL   So just hit the link and pan down them and enjoy.  :)

Outstanding photos, are they all washington photos? Wondered before I vote...

Popes deer is not.  I can't remember if Hunts was montanas or the Blues elk hunt.  I am leaning towards the blues.

Reason I asked, I thought the rules said Washington photos are given preference or something like that. :dunno:

pretty positive they are all washington pics except for pope's deer and ricochet's elk silhouette. i might be wrong, but he's an oregon boy. hunt's pic was from his blues elk hunt.

I forgot Richocets bull was Oregon.  It does not exclude, but in the voting in the past when we were doing our old format where the admins/mods voted, they would generally be shown preference since this is a Washington site.   The bull elk is not so bad, but you might have an absolute awesome field photo of a buffaloe or something and that really isn't what you'd want on the cover of a washington site.  Some might say the same for a Canadian or montana muley or an Oregon elk I suppose too.
