I am so pissed right now, i waited 2 weeks to get it finally it comes. they put 4 sounds on my caller i did not ask for. i looked at my list on the invoice and on the web and i said the right ones and the right ones were on the invoice. they just messed up well crap happens.but!!!!!!!!!!!!! here is the bomb the controller does not work!!!!!
the only thing that works is the mute. no lighting to see the numbers sound up sound down does not work sound selector does not work. man am i pissed right now they are going to get a ear full of it in the morning! allot of my calling has been done with foxpros. never have i seen such crap in quality the remote is junk and the call list is wrong man i am so mad!

416lr 16 sounds same that my buddy has that we have used for years they were on close out so i sold my johnny stewart and ordered one for myself it has the new controler with sound up sound down backlit screen aux send and vol up and vol down.

Try and lighten up a bit- everybody makes mistakes and what goes around comes around. If they have a good company they will feel dumb enough just by their mistake and they will make it right. Good luck

like i said everyone makes mistakes but to send a playlist that i did not order is one thing but a broken remote and take 2 weeks to get it bought and here is another thing now i will be another week or 2 to get things fixed and that is time i should be hunting hard to be happy when i sold my other caller to get this one and have no caller but the hunk of junk sitting on the table right now i am just a bit mad and i feel i have a right to it

Sorry to hear that, but stuff happens.  I ordered a Spitfire directly from FoxPro a few days ago... hopefully, all goes well.

There is a term in electronics that is basically called infant death syndrome.  Happens to ALL high end things from $10,000 camera lens', to laptops to foxpros.   Its just something to happen even in high end merchandise that deal in electronics.   They should honor it and fix it.  You are out the inconvienence, but a good company can be measured in what they do next.

i am still working with steve right now he was going to just send me a new remote for it but the caller itself is messed up also i took it outside to mess with the caller this morning and you have to turn it half way up just to hear it at all. and on high its like its turned on 1/4 of the way so its jack also i had him on the phone and he lisened to it and said somthing is wrong with it. they don't have anymore of the 416lr's so he is now looking around to see if maybe they have a refurbished fx3 or somthing, i talked to him last about 2.5 hours ago i might not hear from him tomarrow. he is trying to make it right  so that makes me happy but untill all is said and done i will still be bothered by it. i sold my other caller to jerbear so got no caller now missing some prime time but this weekend we will be able to hunt my buddy will use his again. and no he will not let me borrow it. he is not a person to loan his things out even though he is one of my best friends.

It sounds like you sold your JS caller before the Foxpro arrived?  Are you not familiar with "wing-walker rule #1"?

I've been preaching this to my kids for years.  Grandad told it to me. From the first time one of them fell out of a tree, to us having to loan one of them money because they quit their job before getting another one.  It's a good rule, that can be applied to many aspects of ones life, "from work to women, and everything in between".  (Those were always Grampa's words at the end of his speech).

Sounds like Steve (or Mike) will make it right.

no never heard of that, that is a good saying.
but i am not to worried about it because we will use my buddys he has the same caller but he just works mon-fri so i might miss out on some calling but o well.

i have allot of hand calls,just around here we don't have jack for rabbits and everyone and there dog educates them with that call we wack the $hit out of them with fawn distress that is about the only sound i use for yotes and bears when i am calling to there food part of there brain. i like howls and challenge calls to but they have not started responding to them very much so still using prey sounds give it a few more weeks and my mouth calls with do the trick with howls but like to use the fox pro challenge with my howls= bad medicine for yotes
