I have an Xsi I'll sell you, it comes with 2 kit lenses also and all the other stuff from the store originally !!! Takes great photos too !!

That Cannon will take a decent pic, it is trim of a few features.
In my case for doing some wildlife pics it seems like there is never enough lens. So when people ask me about a camera I tell them to pick the lens they want first then get a camera to run it.  IS is a great feature too.
Another note, to me cameras are somewhat like guns, fit and hold are important. The smaller handled camera bodies affect how steady I am and how smoothly the trigger operates. Handling a few side by side is helpful for me.

I love mine (XS) it has everything I need..I just bought a 75-300 mm lense..

Not the best picture it was the first day shooting the long lense..



The short lense 18-55mm that came with the camera.



Dayton..







In all I would say Its a great camera.
