Was driving down a back dirt road this morning around Fan Lake. Just ahead of me a flock of bird's were crossing the road... But...  Had to stop for a Tom mounting a hen...  and he had no desire to move till he finshed....  so I just sat there and watched the X- rated show...

Just what we need more Turkeys. They seem to be like rabbits.

Based on some reports they are starting to breed but in other areas the gobblers and hens are still grouped up separately.

Go Figure?   

But the time is drawing nigh and we will be getting first hand reports from the Youth Season.

Something tells me this is going to be one heck of season.   But if the tom's aren't henned up....... us turkey hunters still have a bag of excuses a mile long for why that ole bird just wouldn't commit to our "world class" calling and setups.
