Some more spring sign
« on: May 15, 2010, 09:08:38 PM »
I went for another hike today...found lots of fresh peels.

Took a sitting position under a tree over looking the swamp I like to watch...had something come up behind me, very close.

I could hear the foot falls, but didnt turn around (branches were between us)...then bout 5 minutes later, it crashed off...again, still very close. Got wind of me. I am not sure if it was a bear or what.

On the way out, I saw that a cougar followed my tracks for some ways...so it might have been one of them...not sure. :dunno:

It was exciting though! Enjoy the pics. These were all taken about 200 yards apart if that.

WOOOW!! that bear has been putting in some work on those trees. your definitely on em! I saw another one today. probably a 175 lb male is my best guess. and a couple blacktails. i will post my video up tomorrow.
~  ~One of my favorite clothing patterns is camouflage. Because when you're in the woods it makes you blend in. But when you're not it does just the opposite. It's like "hey, there's an *censored*."”

Be come one with Nature......... Then Marinade it.

One moment you're flying south for the winter, then - BANG - gravy.
