I have never seen a post on that hunt either!  Would consider that hunt myself as a first choice!

I spent 9 days in there last year with a tag holder.  Deer numbers seemed down in there.  We basically covered the entire unit, and never found a buck better that mid 160's.  I've seen pics of all 5 bucks killed with that tag last year.  Nothing bigger than 160's and a couple less than 145".

NWBREW, I was thinking he was referring to the Any Buck Tag (Muleys), that just came available last year.

I, for one, would be happy with a 160" buck.  I know it's not the holy grail, but for Washington, 160" is damn respectable, even with a late tag...   :dunno:

I never said anything negative about a 160" inch buck.  I was just saying with two of us that know the unit extremely well, were a little surprised we couldn't find a bigger buck.  We weren't the only group of locals that were surprised by the lack of "good ole days" bucks.  I'm sure somebody this year will kill a 200"er and prove that we don't know where to go. :)

I didn't mean anything negative about 160" bucks either.  I was just thinking that if I ever draw that tag, maybe I'll give you a call and we can go cull out one of those 160" bucks to make room for the bigguns... :chuckle: :chuckle:
