Looks like I'm a little late to the party here but for your next trip you should consider fishing with Casey at Waters West guide service. I have fished with him quite a few times from rivers in the Montesano area down to Buoy 10 on the Columbia. Great guy and works his butt off to get you on good fish. Has a fish catch guarantee and will take you out for free if you get skunked - never have had to use the guarantee either by the way! Got my son his 1st steelie - 24# nate, and my other boy his 1st salmon, a 30+ # King. The guy is top notch all the way! Awesome prices too, I got 4 trips from him on ebay for $300 total!!! up to 4 people each trip too!
I aint superstitious - cuz its bad luck!
