First Bear was with a T/C Encore 300 Win Mag. Second bear was with a 45-70 Marlin Cowboy lever action with no optics. Hope to make the third bear with either a bow or my Dan Wesson .41 Mag with hand loads, up close and personal. Its addicting... :drool: :drool: :drool: what a rush.

Mine is 7mm Rem Mag w/ 175grain bullet.
For me it depends on if I think I'm shooting over 300yds or under. If It is more close quaters I shoot my 350rem mag w/18in barrell w/225gr barnes tsx. Everything else I shoot my 300win mag w/ 180gr. partitions. This is all out of my T/C Encore rifle.

Winchester Model 70, .30/06 with (old school) Redfield 3x9 Widefield & 165 grn Federals.

Remington 700 in 308 shooting 165 grain game kings.Two bears so far both without any tracking.
