Turkey ID please.....

I will not give any specifics as to where these pics were taken so don't ask.
I will say that they were taken in King county. The landowner who owns the land has lived on the same 40 acre piece of wooded property for a real long time and has never seen turkeys there before. I am no expert when it comes to identifying specific species but these birds do not look like the species I would expect to see....heck I didn't know there was any turkeys in the area these pic's were taken at all.

Hey Jakelope, Do you have a better picture of the rear saddle and tail area.  They are either Merriams or Rio's.  A good picture of the back will tell the true story.  More and more Rio's are showing up in Oregon and Washington and they are very close in appearance.  John

Them are most likely to be Merriams

Merriams or standard bronze domestics (precursor breed to broad-breasted bronze, very similar proportions to wild breeds).  They all appear to be approx. 16 month old males.
