Rainy day bust.
« on: September 18, 2010, 09:47:36 PM »
Went out to one of my honey holes.  Deer everywhere but nothing to shoot.  9 deer total and of course the only ones I could have shot were the fawns and moms.  :chuckle: Im gonna try to make it out a couple nights this week.  One of these little ones might end up in the freezer if I cant find a buck or doe without fawns.  I did jump two does that didnt seem to have fawns though so I think they are safe for now.

Little fawn that I thought was white when I first saw it.  Definitely a blonde color phase.  Notice the tail is not black.  Weird.

Angry doe with twins.  She was ready to throw down.  I gave her some sweet talk and that did the trick.  She better watch it though, this is an any deer unit and the freezer is empty.

Coyotes taking their share.  >:( >:(  Tiny little hoofs in an old pile of coyote crap on the road.  Lots of piles with bone and hair in them.
