Are there any public areas to hunt elk on the east side of Mashel GMU 654?

sure just go in to elbe hills find a gate and start walking just stay low away from the atv road that will be the 9 road.

have not been up by carbonado for along time, but it is mostly handcock. the other guys are correct, at the top of copper creek and elbe hills. are u riffle or ML. i got another spot but that is small but close. pm me if u nee more.
hunt for the the challange of the hunt and the meat,  and it's always a trophey....poachers suck.

There is some public land up there. Real thick and hard to hunt. Mostly gated though.
