Montana Bull
« on: October 17, 2010, 02:24:56 AM »
This was my second year hunting elk in Montana and I am now 2 for 2.  This is not a huge bull but my biggest bull to date.  I shot the bull at about 20-25 yards, not sure the exact range just used my top pin.  This was the first animal i've ever taken using a two-blade broadhead and I used a 165 grain Simmons Land Shark.  The bull ran about 100 yards after the shot and expired.  We ended up coming home with 3 bulls total, the other two were a 6x6 and a 5x6.

Nice top pin Montana Bull. Always a blessing when you can get them using your top pin. Time to get the Barby out
