my first bowkill
« on: October 19, 2010, 12:16:02 PM »
Forgot to post this till now, last day of early deer archery 9/24 (?) Im in a treestand bout 20ft up, been seeing these guys all evening but didnt wanna let one fly and scare off any nearby deer (last day) well, 20min before last light I couldnt take it anymore, this guy was sitting 25yds from my tree and let me take careful aim and twack! he ran ten ft, jumped straight up in the air and fell over...only had broadheads and my hellrazor at 65lbs did quite a job on him, luckily i got him rite in the pocket and didnt waste any meat! Soaked him in spices and BBQ all night and grilled him the next day, good stuff! My stand is still there and Im trying to get back for more asap.

Nice shooting ! To take a rabbit with a broadhead and have the meat look that good . Quite a feat. Good to hit him let alone perfect shot. I also see rabbit & grouse but don't shoot either, should change my mind & have fun. Congrat.Mike
