New to deer hunting in Washington
« on: October 24, 2010, 10:46:22 PM »
Hello,
New to the site and recently assigned to JBLM. We're from Iowa and my son and I are into deer hunter. Where are some areas we can realistically find deer? I've been to the WDFW website and not sure where it's legal to hunt deer in this state. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

I was stationed there until March 2010, dude just go on base. The northwest adventure center on north fort can tell you exactly what you need to do to hunt on post. there are deer bear and whatever else on post so go over there and find out what ya need to do. you both require a hunter safety course to be able to hunt in washington or eben to get a license, otherwise you will have to wait until the next hunter education course in january 2011. good luck
