What do you think would happen if you went through one of those new-fangled x-ray screener things packing a bunch of meat in your clothes?  Hopefully they don't have bomb/drug sniffing dog out there.  You might get mauled.

I brought a bunch of salmon and halibut home from alaska in check in bags and paid the extra fee for another box.  I can't remember what I paid but I do remember that it couldn't be more than 70 pounds and I had to go to some kind of Alaska Airlines building (at the airport but not the regular check in place) to pick it up.
