you must be friends with a land owner there.  that's got to be a neat little river to go on a float on.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I hope I'm right about the upper river above hwy4 bridge to hatchery and above I thought was closed through the 15th.  Long drive but that river can be incredible at times.  I'm hoping to float it because its getting so hard to access.  I don't know where ill put in yet.

Looking at the regs right now and from the hwy 4 bridge to the crowne mainline (salme) bridge SALMON- oct. 1- jan. 31 min size 12 inches... daily limit 6 up to 3 adults may be retained. 2 may be wild coho 1 may be wild chinook. release chum...

unless im reading different regs it says temp hatchery weir to hwy 4 bridge closed waters aug-oct15th.  it used to always open midweek like on a wed. i hardly ever could go.  i havent been yet this year.  the regs on the naselle are kind of confusing.

Boy you are right.. It does say closed waters in italics right above where it says open from oct.1-jan. 31. confusing... i better call my buddy that has been fishing down there and tell him to quit fishing above the bridge.
It has always opened on the 15th. It hasd always been a set day. But this year i read it like it was open on the 1st and figured they are changing it due to the ability to keep more unclipped fish.
I very rarely fish it above the bridge anyways. But i have friends that do and they have said it was piss poor so far. 1st 2 weeks of september was good for chinook and it just died.
